WWE Hall Of Famer Fred Ottman Once Again Hospitalized
Fred Ottman: also known as “Typhoon”, “Tugboat”, and “The Shockmaster”, and who went into the WWE Hall Of Fame along with “Earthquake” John Anthony Tenta Jr in 2025 as “The Natural Disasters”, reported on his Facebook account that he is being admitted into the hospital after initially going into the emergency room. He didn’t say exactly why he was in the hospital, but he was originally scheduled to be a part of SWFL Super Card Show in Fort Myers, FL, this weekend of September 11th – 13th which he said we will not be able to attend.
This is what he had to say:
“Unfortunately, hi everybody. Due to things beyond my control, I was put into the hospital here this evening. Finally got admitted after I was taken to the emergency room. But I will not be able to be in Fort Myers. And I want to apologize, and I’ll get together with the promoters and my friend Matthew that was bringing me in after I see what’s going on here with the doctors. But I love you all and keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully I’ll be seeing you soon. Bye.”

This is not the first time he has had a medical emergency in the hospital. Around February of this year, Ottman posted on his Instagram social that he had been in the hospital for about 30 days. About in January his gallbladder ruptured, releasing harmful toxins and serious infections into his body. The doctor told his wife that if he had waited a day longer, he may not still be here:
