Confirmation On Major Tag Team Finally Coming To AEW At All In: London

Per today’s latest report from Fightful Select, Kofi and Austin Creed, formerly “The New Day”, are in fact headed to AEW.
Fightful says they were told the official deal came together in the last couple of weeks, as they were not signed as of two weeks ago. Since then, talks engaged and a deal was worked out. If it wasn’t obvious already, the team is planned to debut at “AEW All In: London” this Sunday, August 30th, set to get a new team name, and join Swerve Strickland in the Trios Royal Roulette as the Wild Card team. Even though they haven’t heard what the new team’s name will be.
With the WWE still holding the trademarks for most of the team’s slogans and catchphrases, including their old team name, it should be interesting to see what new and exciting things they can come up with.
