It’s Monday Night so it’s time to get Raw from the Frost Bank Centre in San Antonio, TX! On tap for tonight, Bayley takes on Lyra Valkyria in a most heated rivalry. The Money in the Bank Triple Threat Qualifier Matches continue with the women’s side featuring IYO SKY vs Roxanne Perez vs La Catalina, and Dragon Lee vs Solo Sikoa vs Dominik Mysterio will clash on the men’s side. Also, Penta will take the mic after his incredible title match against World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns in Mexico City last week. And “let the megastar talk to ya” as LA Knight will address his post-Raw attack on Roman Reigns.

We got plenty to go and probably more – So let’s start the SLAM and see what’s in store!

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are our commentators, and “Amazing Hair” Alicia Taylor is our ring announcer.

We begin as usual with the superstars entering the arena. Then we have a vignette from last week about Roman Reigns vs Penta. This was considered one of the best TV main events in a very long time, I strongly recommend you watch it. Penta leaves up the ramp as Reigns remains behind in the ring. Big mistake, because here comes LA Knight after the show ended and beat down Reigns. After, Reigns said he’ll get his shot at MitB.

We start the show live with Penta headed to the ring. He says last week in Mexico City was one of the biggest nights of his life. He said, in Spanish, in front of his family and friends (I got that much). He said he respects Reigns, but it’s not over. More Espanol. Then he says he wants another shot at the championship.

Out comes “Dirty” Dom Mysterio and JD McDonagh. Behind heavy boos Dom says nobody cares about him. They want to hear from The Judgment Day. McDonagh says Dom will win the MitB briefcase, and for Penta to go to the back of the line. More boos as Dom says Penta needs to put some respect on his name. Penta insults Dom in more Spanish (won’t be translating, sorry not sorry).

That cues a beatdown on Penta by Dom and McDonagh. They throw Penta to the outside and start clearing off the announce table. But Penta tosses McDonagh before he can slam him into the table. Then tosses Dom. He throws both Judgment Day members back in the ring as he climbs the turnbuckle and hits a Double Crossbody. The Judgment Day go to the back.

Now backstage, The Usos are talking to Jacob Fatu about the 946. Fatu says keep laying low and playing it slow. He says the wrong move is to make the first move. Solo Sikoa comes in waving a white flag. He says they need to work together as a team. Jey says Sikoa needs to acknowledge Reigns as his tribal chief. Solo said that’s not happening, so Jey said for Sikoa to leave. Fatu says they just made a big mistake.

Next up is the women’s MitB qualifier. IYO SKY is out first to the ring as we get our first break.

Back and Roxanne Perez of Judgment Day is in the ring. Finally, out comes the AAA Reyna De Reynas Champ La Catalina.

Women’s MitB Triple Threat Qualifier Match:
IYO SKY vs Roxanne Perez vs AAA Reyna De Reynas Champion La Catalina

Perez starts things off by slapping both SKY and Catalina, then rolling out of the ring. The other two look at each other and call a temporary truce as they both go after Perez. They both throw Perez to the ropes, do leapfrogs, and SKY and Catalina together hit Dropkicks on Perez. Now it’s SKY against Catalina as they both are evenly matched. Until SKY goes for a reversal on Catalina for a pinfall attempt, Perez runs in for an attempt on SKY, Catalina tries to pin Perez. SKY pulls Catalina off and Perez attempts to pin both women together. They work together against Perez again, but Perez gives Catalina a Hurricanrana.

These triple threats are too chaotic to follow. Lots of back and forth punching and Superkicks on each other. SKY charges Perez but she sends SKY to the ring apron. Catalina charges at Perez but nails SKY to the outside as Perez tried for a “ROOLUP OF DEATH~!”. Catalina reversed it into a Gory Special for a close call. Both Catalina and Perez are battling back and forth in the middle, when suddenly SKY with a Double Missile Dropkick from the top corner. Both are in the corner now for a Double Meteora by SKY. SKY climbs the turnbuckle again for a high-flying move, but Perez moves and Catalina just gets ger knees up. Perez runs over and hits Pop Rocks on SKY for the win.

WINNER: Roxanne Perez

Now backstage again, Knight walks into Sikoa. Knight asks what’s up with the Usos and Fatu and is he going back again. Sikoa says it’s not what it looks like. Knight says they both got opportunities. Come MitB Sikoa is going to win the briefcase, and Knight is going to win the WHC from Reigns. He jokingly warns Sikoa, “Don’t you dare cash in in on me.” Sikoa asks why would he do that, he’s his boy. “YEAH~!”

When we come back from break LA Knight is introduced to the ring. It’s confirmed that Knight will battle Reigns for the title at MitB. “Lemme talk to ya!” He starts by saying last week in Mexico City, Reigns and Penta tore the house down. He gives credit where it’s due that both men gave it their all. Which takes us to MitB. Three years ago they went one-on-one, three years of getting knocked down and back up, and making sure he’s not in the plan. Three years of everyone telling you who the uncrowned champ is… “L-A-Kight-YEAH~!” Hee doesn’t understand who Reigns always wants to be acknowledged. He acknowledges that Reigns and Penta had a great match last week, that Reigns won by himself, and that he’s possibly the greatest champs of all time, People say they want LA Knight to have the championship. But he doesn’t think anyone can beat Reigns, not even him. Knight mentions that since WrestleMania, Reigns has had no Bloodline to help him, not even when he dropped him last week. He says he’s never needed anybody. He’s done all this by himself, he’s the most self-made son of a b****. And at MitB, he’ll acknowledge Roman acknowledging him as the new World Heavyweight Champ with everybody saying, “L-A-Knight-YEAH~!”

Now backstage, Byron Saxton is interviewing Je’Von Evans. He mentions Evans qualified for the MitB ladder match. And, at the age of 22, Evans will be the youngest superstar to compete in that match. Evans says he’ll be the youngest MitB briefcase winner. In walks The Vision. Logan Paul says he’s even dumber than he looks. Bron Breakker interrupts Paul’s and Evans’s banter. He congratulates Evans on qualifying. But the briefcase is his. Evans says they both have their gear on, so he challenges Breakker to a match. He sees he’s outnumbered by five, so he five-fingered bitch-slapped Breakker as he runs out to the ring. We go to break and Breakker is in the ring when we come back for this impromptu match.

Je’Von Evans vs Bron Breakker:

They collide with each other right off the bell and roll out of the ring. Breakker slams Evans around the outside against barricades and the ring apron. Breakker throws Evans back in the ring. Then, as he tries to get back in the ring Evans Superkicks and punches Breakker back to the outside and Evans flies with a suicide Dive onto Breakker. Now Evans is in control. They get back in the ring and Breakker regains the power advantage. They go back outside as Evans beats on Breakker again. Breakker is surrounded by his Vision teammates as Evans backs off. Suddenly, Breakker charges at Evans but he dodged the Spear as Breakker goes crashing into the timekeeper’s area. Evans goes around the ring and flies over the barricade, crashing into Breakker into the timekeeper’s area again.

Back from break, Breakker is in control again in the ring. Breakker tries to finish it with a Spear, but Evans moves and Breakker slams against the ring post. Evans looks like he’s going for a Suicide Dive on Breakker on the outside, but changes direction and takes out Bronson Reed on the opposite side. He then Suicide Dives onto Breakker. He throws Breakker back into the ring and hits the Red Dot. Evans goes for the OG Cutter, but Austin Theory is right there to knock him off the corner as the ref calls for the DQ.

WINNER: Je’Von Evans

After the match comes the beatdown. Just before Breakker can do the Super Spear, the lights go out and here comes Oba Femi. Femi punches everyone in the ring and squashes them in each corner. Reed tries to squash Femi in the corner but Femi no-sells it with a big boot. Paul tried to bring in a steel chair, but Femi grabbed it and cleared the ring. Evans finally gets up and wants a Suicide Dive, so Femi uses Evans as a human projectile over the top rope onto The Vision. Femi poses as we go to another break.

We’re back and WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry is shown at ringside.

We get a cellphone vignette from the 946 as Royce Keys says the Bloodline crossed the line, and nobody is safe. Typical ominous message.

We then get a video earlier from Joe Hendry’s Instagram as he leads a bunch of people singing about “JD McDonagh is a Funko Pop” We then see the Funko Pop.

Now back live, The Judgment Day comes out to the ring. JD McDonagh starts with insulting Texas. The song doesn’t worry him, but it does his family. His mom is back in Ireland stressing out over this, his dad is not a Funko Pop, and he has a very normal sized head. Raquel Rodriguez takes the microphone and says that, as a Texan, she’s embarrassed by her fellow Texans in the arena. She calls a bunch of people in the audience haters and rambles in Spanish at them. Liv Morgan then says The Judgment Day proved last week they still run Raw. She then mentions Stephanie Vaquer who took her Women’s World Championship. What happened in Chile will go down as one of the greatest tragedies in WWE. Crooked ref Becky Lynch was in on it, and now she’s coming for both of them.

Cue Becky Lynch. She’s in the crowd. She says she’s known McDonagh since he was twelve and they trained together. Lynch called his mother and she is stressed that her only son is dressed in gang wear playing towel boy to some dopes and he got owned by a Funko Pop. She says referee Rebecca could be the greatest ref of all time. Lynch told Morgan to get to the back of the line because the first crack at the title is hers.

Here comes the Women’s World Champ Stephanie Vaquer. She says Morgan is just mad because she won her title back in front of her people in her home. She will give Morgan a rematch to prove she won it on her own. Lynch interrupts but Vaquer calls her a great referee, and she deserves a title shot, too. Vaquer will go talk to Raw GM Adam Pearce. But, this is her championship, and she is “La Primera”.

We now bet a video vignette from Lyra Valkyria, saying being Bayley’s partner took a year off of her career. When she was beating Bayley within an inch of her life at the Garden, she’s the one who paid the bigger price. She went to a place you can’t come back from. Valkyria can’t understand how Bayley is back and still costing her opportunities, especially when Bayley claims to fight for all women. Valkyria says tonight, Bayley will wish their last match was her last match.

Now live, Bayley comes out for her heated rivalry match against Valkyria. Break.

Bayley vs Lyra Valkyria:

Before the bell, Bayley knocks Valkyria off the ring apron before she even gets in the ring. Suicide Dive through the middle rope by Bayley onto Valkyria and he pounds away on Valkyria as this is a very personal match.

Bayley throws Valkyria into the ring as we finally get the bell. Knee to the face of Valkyria. Bayley gives Valkyria hard Clotheslines in the corner. Bayley hangs her up on the top rope and delivers another running knee to the face which sends Valkyria to the outside. Bayley tries to leap through the bottom rope at Valkyria, but she catches Bayley with a punch. Valkyria tries a Spinning Kick, but Bayley caught her and slammed Valkyria down. Bayley charges from the corner, but Valkyria flips her over and Bayley looks to have landed badly on her left knee. Peripitea, which is a high leg drop from the top, and a close call. Valkyria now grounds and pounds on Bayley, pulling her hair. We go to break just after Bayley regains control and hits a Flying Elbow from the top and multiple Elbow Drops on Valkyria as Valkyria now is grabbing her left leg.

A while after the break, both women are on the outside with Bayley in control. Bayley clears the announce table and takes Valkyria on top looking for a power move. But Valkyria squeaks out and runs back into the ring as Bayley stalks after her. Bayley pounds and kicks on Valkyria against the ropes until the ref has to separate her. She goes right back after Valkyria, but Valkyria trips up Bayley’s neck on the second rope, briefly stunning her enough for a “ROLLUP OF DEATH~!” and a handful of tights for the win.

WINNER: Lyra Valkyria

After the match, an irate Bayley tries to chase after Valkyria but the ref stops her.

Now backstage, we see the Intercontinental Champ Chad Gable approach Dragon Lee. He tells Lee last week he just got out of their match by the skin of his teeth and that’s how he likes it. Lee shakes on it but says, in Espanol, he’s got to focus on MitB. In walks Ethan Page. He says Gable is just handing out title opportunities, but Gable’s avoiding him because he’s the only active threat. If Page wants a championship opportunity, Gable says he lost to Lee and Gable made him tap out. Gable tells him to go out and earn it. Page asks if that’s really how they’re going to do this before storming off. Poor guy.

Back from break, GM Pearce, with Raw contract in hand, gives a cheap pop to San Antonio. Then says he has the honor of bringing out the woman who not only punched her ticket to MitB last week but has signed her Raw women’s roster contract. He brings out Lola Vice.

Vice says this means everything to her. Her mom came from Cuba for a better life. Her father introduced her to martial arts and made her the ass-kicker who qualified for MitB. She doesn’t care who all qualifies.

Suddenly someone says something in Spanish. Roxanne Perex comes out.  She says she’s someone who could teach her a thing or two. Vice freaks out in Spanish, Perez shoves her, and vice nearly back elbows her as Perez backs off (those Spaniards have a hot temper). Pearce escorts Perez to the back.

Now backstage, we see Paul Heyman watching what just went down on a TV screen. Breakker walks by but turns around to join Heyman. Heyman tells him Femi is still breathing, which is bad, bad, bad for The Vision. Breakker says he’s still breathing, and that’s bad, bad, bad for everyone. Heyman asks, “Everyone?” Heyman looks worried.

And now for the main event, the men’s triple threat MitB qualifier match. Out first is Sikoa. But is he? He never comes out. All we see is on the screen where the 946 has knocked Sikoa out and is kidnapping him. As they speed away, the Bloodline briefly give foot chase and start arguing, with Knight arriving shortly after (the “946” are just racking up the felony charges, aren’t they?)

After the break, we replay what just happened before we see what happened during the break. Pearce joined in the fray as well as Dom Mysterio. Dom says this must mean he automatically qualifies for MitB. Pearce yells at him for being selfish and tells him to get to the ring now.

Dom is in the ring live as Dragon Lee comes out. They question if this qualifier will be a singles competition. Pearce comes out and says this will be a triple threat. Penta comes out to replace Sikoa.

Men’s MitB Triple Threat Qualifier Match:
Dominick Mysterio vs Dragon Lee vs Penta

Right off the bell the luchadores go after Dom with dual Superkicks and beat him down. Penta throws him to the ropes and Lee drops him over the top rope to the outside. Now it’s Lee vs Penta. They’re pretty evenly matched. Penta gets knocked to the outside so Le tried to run the ropes for a dive. But Dom pulls him out of the ring. Penta with “Topo Con Hilo” dive onto his competitors on the outside.

Back from break, it’s Dom and Lee. I won’t be covering all the chaos here. It’s too quick. But each competitor has a chance to shine.

Near the end, all three men are down in the ring. Lee and Penta are up first as they point to the briefcases and do dueling punches. Lee with a knee and a Standing Hurricanrana on Penta. Lee goes up top, but Dom shoves him off while Dom goes up top. He does his Frog Splash, but Penta gets the knees up. Lee with a Styles Clash on Dom, but Penta stops the count. Lee gets tossed to the apron by Penta, Kick by Penta and a Mexican Destroyer on the ring apron sending Lee down to the outside. 6-1-9 by Dom onto Penta. Frog Splash by Dom for the 1… 2… NO! Penta kicks out. Dom is hot as he tears off the top corner turnbuckle. Nothing the ref can do, it’s no DQ. Dom sends Penta to the exposed steel, but he reverses it sending Dom’s head into it. Springboard Mexican Destroyer by Penta for the three and the win. Impressive.

WINNER: Penta

Penta is now joining Williams, Breakker, and Evans, with two more qualifiers to go. Penta celebrates as the credits roll and the commentators wonder what is happening with Sikoa.
