TNA Continues to Part Ways with More Pro Wrestling Stars
More pro-wrestling stars and staff members parts ways with TNA amid internal shake-up throughout June
Throughout the month of June 2026, a sort of internal and backstage shake-up has been happening in TNA, with multiple pro wrestling stars either requesting their release or being let go. Thus far: Steve Maclin, Myla Grace, Tessa Blanchard, and Sami Callihan are the casualties as well as multiple staffers. This has been happening since early this month and culminating as of June 17th.
This all comes off the heels of a behind-the-scenes roster shake-up. Earlier this month on June 7th, Steve Maclin (former World Champion and two-time TNA International Champion), according to Fightful Select, parted ways with TNA after requesting his release from his contract. And Myla Grace, according to reports from Fightful Select, got her requested release the same day.
Tessa Blanchard requested her release from the promotion on June 16th, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA offered her a new, exclusive contract extension, which she ultimately turned down and TNA granted her release.
Then, this morning on June 17th, Sami Callihan, who had been working primarily behind the scenes as a backstage producer since 2025, confirmed he was let go. Posting on his social media:
Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope.
“Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure. Check out my company @PWRevolver“
Also, on the afternoon of June 17th, TNA President Carlos Silva released an internal memo noting the immediate exit of eight staff members, primarily from production and administrative branches, including Ariel Shnerner (Executive Producer and head of TNA Creative), TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim (Production and Talent Relations), and others.
Stay tuned to the BLVD where we will SLAM any updates as they occurr.
Alongside everyone, we wish all those released the very best in their future endeavors.
