I’ll start with the “booking” (yes people actuallt bet on wrestling) spoiler results:

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs The “Bore General” Gunther
Odds imply a 56.5% probability of Rhodes retaining.

Tribal Combat Match for WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns(c) vs Jacob Fatu
Odds imply an 87.5% probability of Reigns retaining.

WWE Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley(c) vs Jade Cargill
Odds imply an 88.9% probability of Ripley retaining.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch(c) vs Sol Ruca
Odds imply a 75% probability of Ruca winning the belt.

Singles Match: Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi
Odds imply a 75% probability of Lesnar winning.

    The StationChief Thoughts…
I would be a bit surprised if they let Gunther take a loss with the momentum they’ve been trying to give this bore as of late. But I wouldn’t mind if he became the champ with the wrestlers that would be coming after him. Brock Lesnar (who can go after the title then lose at SummerSlam to “officially” retire), a Rhodes rematch, maybe even give it to Oba Femi with how over he is now.

I figured Reigns would retain but in some dastardly fashion to keep the “Samoan Werewwolf” looking strong. It is a no DQ or countout match, so this one should be interesting how it goes down and continues on RAW the next day in Italy.

Ripley won the WHC from Cargill at WM42. So I have no doubt she’ll be booked strong in keeping it for a while.

Lynch did the dirty to lose her non-title match, giving newcomer Ruca her title shot. Lynch is gonna get so cocky with her that there’s no doubt Ruca is gonna win her first major title.

Femi won the first match against Lesnar in dominant fashion. So, if WWE follows their typical “best outta three” pattern, Lesnar should dominate Femi here. That will lead up to their third and final deciding gimmick match. I’m thinking Hell in a Cell or something to put two powerhouses in. Let their third and final match be longer and more decisive. My guess for the third match might be Oba Femi. Maybe he’ll retire Lesnar at SummerSlam, even though the rumors are the “Bore General” will do it.
